If you struggle with chronic pain due to injury or trauma, regenerative injection therapy may help you to heal faster and more effectively. At Wdowin NMD Integrative Medical Center, Dr. Wdowin and his team are highly trained in various forms of regenerative therapies including platelet-rich plasma (PRP), prolotherapy, and stem cell therapies.

What is regenerative injection therapy?
Regenerative injection therapy focuses on aiding the body’s natural repair and healing system in the hopes of regenerating damaged tissues or organs by stimulating the body’s healing system.

Regenerative injection therapy is commonly used to treat injuries to joints, bones, and other soft tissues such as cartilage, ligaments, and tendons.

Injection therapy works by releasing growth factors, proteins, and other important properties required for proper functioning back into the damaged tissue.

What conditions can be treated with injection therapy?
Dr. Wdowin is proud to offer injection therapy to treat various conditions, including:
● Achilles tendon injuries
● Knee injuries
● Ligament tears or damage
● Osteoarthritis
● Shoulder and rotator cuff injuries
● Sport injuries
● Tendonitis
● Tennis or golfer’s elbow

What type of regenerative injection therapies do we offer?
At Wdowin NMD Integrative Medical Center, we offer a variety of injection therapies including:

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)
Inside your body’s blood, or plasma, are platelets, which contain healing growth factors. These factors help to treat inflammation and stimulate tissue repair and regeneration within your body.

PRP is created by drawing some of the patient’s own blood and then using a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets within a sample of the plasma. This concentrated sample of platelets is then combined with the original blood sample. We can then inject this platelet-rich blood into the targeted area to stimulate cell generation and new tissue growth.

Medicinal Signaling Cells
Medicinal signaling cell therapy uses stem cells to heal injured or damaged tissues. This process stimulates the production of tissue-specific cells allowing for healthy regeneration to the targeted area.

Prolotherapy
Prolotherapy is used to stimulate an immune response to damaged or injured tissues in a certain area by the use of a dextrose solution. This is an excellent option to use in combination with medicinal signaling cells and PRP.

We also offer other types of injections to improve overall health and wellness such as B12 shots, vitamin shots, and injections for aid in weight loss.

These treatments can be used safely in combination with each other to enhance the healing potential. The length of treatment will vary depending on the patient’s condition and desired results.

Regenerative injection therapy is a non-surgical option that aids in the healing process of damaged cells. It works to increase mobility and muscle strength while reducing patient reliance on pain medication.
